  • A five-champion custom starter (Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure, Tuhanarak) can be assembled with the promo code generator at moduletd.com.
  • The video teases an all-player Halloween promo code to be revealed in the next GameGeeksTricks video.
  • Overlooked new-player codes in the video feature Kallia, Esme the Dancer, Razelvarg and Apothecary alongside resource bundles.

A Raid Shadow Legends promo code is a link or string redeemed at registration that drops extra champions and resources into a brand-new account, and the current GameGeeksTricks breakdown ranks five starter links, with the Rector Drath + Fayne + Krok'mar + Seeker pack as the top pick — you can claim it through the Rector Drath + Seeker starter link. The key restriction to know before you click anything: one new-player promo code per account, redeemable only inside the first 72 hours after you register through a promo link.

What a Raid Shadow Legends promo code actually gives you

A promo code in Raid is not a coupon for the shop — it is a registration bonus that injects champions and resources into a fresh account, and the value depends entirely on which champions the link carries. Starter packs typically bundle two to five champions plus resources, and the champions are the part that matters: a single strong epic can carry early campaign farming, arena and clan boss progress for weeks.

Two rules govern every code:

  1. The code must be applied to a new account registered through that specific promo link.
  2. Only one new-player promo code can be redeemed per account, and the window closes 72 hours after registration.

That second rule is why the choice matters more than the quantity of links floating around. Picking a pack with a healer, a debuffer and a damage dealer covers more content than a pack of five damage dealers.

The five starter packs ranked in the breakdown

The ranking in the video sorts starter links by how well the champion lineup covers early and mid-game content — damage, debuffs, healing and turn-meter control — and the top three are the ones most players should compare first.

  1. Rector Drath + Fayne + Krok'mar + Seeker — revival, poison damage and turn-meter control. The most balanced of the five: Rector Drath heals and revives, Fayne brings poison and debuffs, Seeker manipulates turn meter, and Krok'mar adds shields plus a team crit rate and crit damage buff.
  2. Tayrel + Aina + Krok'mar + Galapo — powerful debuffs, damage and team support. Tayrel's Decrease Defense and Aina's damage make this the most aggressive option for players who want to clear waves fast.
  3. Ultimate Galek + Zargala + Corvis + Mausoleum Mage — AoE damage, Decrease Defense, poison and support. Zargala's defense break plus Ultimate Galek's area damage is a strong campaign and arena combination, with Mausoleum Mage covering cleansing and support.
  4. Wythir the Crowned + Fahrakin the Fat + Galapo + Vergis — legendary healing, cleansing, damage and survivability. The most defensive lineup, built around staying alive in longer fights.
  5. A custom five-champion pack — Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure and Tuhanarak assembled through the promo code generator on moduletd.com.

How to build your own five-champion starter pack

A custom starter pack lets you pick the exact five champions you want instead of accepting a fixed bundle, and the generator linked in the breakdown is preset to Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure and Tuhanarak. That lineup is deliberately built: Stag Knight supplies Decrease Defense and Decrease Attack, Seeker handles turn meter and a team buff, Alure controls enemy turn meter on bosses, Tuhanarak covers support, and Tholin Foulbeard adds damage.

To use it:

  1. Open the generator page and review the champion slots.
  2. Swap any champion you do not want for one that fills a gap in your planned roster.
  3. Generate the promo link and register a new account through it.
  4. Log in and confirm the champions landed in your roster before the 72-hour window closes.

If you already have an account, the generator will not help — new-player codes cannot be attached to an existing profile.

Overlooked codes, free Whisper and other legendary champions

Beyond the headline starter packs, the video points to lesser-known new-player codes built around Kallia, Esme the Dancer, Razelvarg and Apothecary, plus resource bundles that speed up early progression. Apothecary in particular is a healer that stays useful well into the mid-game, which makes that code more competitive than its low profile suggests.

The breakdown also covers how to unlock Whisper, Ultimate Deathknight, Brakus the Shifter and Teodor the Savant, and which starter links pair best with each of them — for example, pairing a damage-focused legendary with a starter pack that already supplies healing and debuffs. Whisper is a rare attack champion whose multi-hit kit scales well with crit damage gear, so she is worth building if she lands on your account early.

Why some promo codes do not work

The most common reason a Raid promo code fails is that the account is not eligible — either it already exists, or a different new-player code was already redeemed on it. A Raid account accepts exactly one new-player promo code, and only within 72 hours of registering through a promo link, so a player who signed up normally or used another link first cannot apply a second one.

Other frequent causes:

  • The link was opened after the 72-hour window had already passed.
  • The code was entered on a platform or region where the promotion is not active.
  • The link was typed manually and a character was lost in the process.
  • The account was created before the code existed.

Veteran players often ask why these promotions are new-player only. That is how Plarium structures starter links: they are designed to give fresh accounts a head start, not to add champions to established rosters. All-player codes do exist, but they are distributed separately — which is exactly what the Halloween announcement is about.

Every starter link referenced in the video is collected here so you can compare lineups side by side before committing an account to one of them.

What to expect from the Halloween code and final advice

A Halloween promo code for all players is announced for the next GameGeeksTricks [GGT] [2GT] video, which makes it the one to watch if you already have an account and cannot use starter links. Until it drops, the practical move for a new player is to pick one pack and commit: the Rector Drath + Fayne + Krok'mar + Seeker lineup covers the widest range of content, and you can start with the Rector Drath + Seeker pack here before the 72-hour window runs out. Remember that only one new-player code can be redeemed per account, so do not burn the slot on a pack you are unsure about. Questions & answers

Can I use a Raid Shadow Legends promo code on my existing account?

No. Starter promo links only apply to new accounts registered through that specific link, and only one new-player code can be redeemed per account within the first 72 hours. Existing accounts cannot attach a second new-player code, which is why veteran players usually have to wait for all-player codes such as the announced Halloween one.

Why do the promo codes say they are invalid or do not work?

The most likely causes are an account that already exists, a different new-player code already redeemed, or the 72-hour window having passed. Links copied by hand can also lose characters. Open the link directly, register a fresh account through it and confirm the champions appear in the roster right away.

Which of the five starter packs is best for a new player?

The Rector Drath + Fayne + Krok'mar + Seeker pack is the most balanced, combining revival, poison damage and turn-meter control. If you prefer raw wave clearing, Tayrel + Aina + Krok'mar + Galapo brings stronger debuffs and damage, while Wythir the Crowned + Fahrakin the Fat + Galapo + Vergis is the most defensive option.

Should I save Ancient Shards and pull ten at a time?

There is no mechanical bonus for pulling ten at once, so the decision is about timing rather than batch size. Saving shards for a x2 event or a summon rush tournament gives better expected value than pulling whenever shards arrive, and pulling ten in one session only saves clicks.
